Jake's Great Grandparents!

Shhhh, don't repeat this to anyone.....BUT did you know that I (Jessica) am Grandpa Al's favorite granddaughter? No, really I am! haha. But really, I am. And when looking at these photos I think he loves our little Jakey boy too. I just had to post these photos of a visit we made to see Grandma Bell and Grandpa Al. And of course Grandma Bell looks beautiful even when she doesn't feel 100%. And doesn't Grandpa Al pose just like all of us "Marin's"? Funny...

Our Favorite Grandpa Chicken!
Giving one another some kisses...ahhh!
Lookin' good you two!!!
This is a photo of Jake's Great Granny Hoyt when we went to Grand Junction. She was so fond of him....I am not sure I can say he is the favorite.....but I am pretty sure Mikey is her favorite....sorry Shari and Jason. But I know she misses Mikey and we wish we could go see her more often.

Pumpkin Patch.....Missing Grandpa/Dad

So I know it is a little late and we just now took Jake too a little Pumpkin Patch over near our house. It was just a little place where they sell pumpkins. Anyhow, my mom, Christy, Mike, Jake and I went and Grandma bought Jake a little pumpkin and Mommy and Daddy bought a big one. It was so sweet but at the same time we were missing my Dad/Grandpa and wish he could have been with us all. We set Jake in the middle of the pumpkins and he thought it was so funny.....see his faces in his photos. Then we set him near a vampire and he didn't like it too much. It is so fun doing all of these little things with him and see his little faces.

This is kind of fun!
Look at me, I am a big boy!
If you could hear him when he makes this face.
I love to have fun.
This is kind of scary!!!

Costume Test Run......

So here are Jake's Halloween costume photos. Am I bad mommy or what? Nahhh, I want to learn how to take my own photos since I have a great camera for it. I learned hot to use it and I think I pretty much forgot...haha. Anyway, I thought these came out really good. So they are a great test run for his BIG day as a puppy for Halloween. He wasn't sure what to do in it. But I finally found what I needed!!! THE BLACK TIGHTS. If you only knew what a mission it was for me to find them . Anyway, here is my cutie pies costume photos. Can you believe he is already 8 months old? I cannot........how time flies!!!

Getting ready for Disney Land
Hi Mommy!

If you didn't know that new "San Tan Village" opened up this weekend on Greenfield and the 202. It is a great outdoor mall and I love it. I will love it more when all of the stores are finally open. We had a great time with the Jamie, Jack, Katie, Jack and Mikey....YES my hubby was a sport and hung out with the ladies and the kids. And as if we couldn't get enough we went back again the next day! I was on a mission to find some black tights for the Jakester and his costume!

Trip to Tempe Marketplace

So I have been such a slacker at updating our blog. Below are some of our trip to the new Tempe Marketplace. We just shopped around and found a great deal on a new dress for none other than "muah." It is such a Lauren Conrad dress....I was so excited. Now I just need a reason to wear it. Hummmmm, can you say hint, hint to my hubby! I need a date night!

Jake's First Cookie & Hockey Game

YUMMY!!

Go Jared!!
Does this whole thing fit in my mouth?
These kids were good!!!

A few weekends ago Jake, Mike, and I attended a hockey game. It was our friends son Jared's hockey game. He is an awesome hockey player and while I was there I decided Jake is so playing hockey when he is of age. It was so fun and just so cute on their skates.

While we were there I decided to give Jake his first teething cookie. He LOVED it. He just kept knawing at it and made a mess. It was so cute though.

It is about time!!

So today I noticed at dinner when I was feeding Jake there was a little somethin', somethin' on the bottom right of his gums! Well, well....it is a tooth starting to cut through! Jake has been teething for like the past 5 months and FINALLY a tooth appears. Now I am realizing the signs....his drooling increased, he really didn't want to take an afternoon nap lately and he has been waking up at night for a while but just to play I thought since he really didn't cry! I feel like a horrible mommy for not going in there to soothe him knowing that it was probably his tooth all along. But he got through it like a trooper. He is a such a good little guy. The older he gets the better he gets about just being so good and taking his naps and all. I just love him to death!

It keeps growing!

So we finally got Jake's hair cut. I know I could do it myself but I do not want to mess it up and then he hates me when he is older for giving him a jacked up haircut. LOL. Since my girl is gone and I haven't even went to get my own hair done we decided to go to Snip It's over by Chandler Mall. It was so cute, it is for little kids. He did so good....we are so blessed with this little guy. There was a kid screaming at the top of his lungs and he sounded like he was dying when we went in there. So I think it might be a good thing we are starting early with Jake on the haircuts. As you can see from the photos he was pretty happy! This was his 3rd haircut if you all didn't know that.

This photo was just cute so I tossed it in....

Bunco girls night out!

The start of the night.....FUN!
My Girl Tina Martin
Jess, Kristi, Katie, Caroline
My other girl Katie...Thanks for the hook up sista!
Oh....and the end of the night. Carry me out of here!

So my Bunco group decided to skip the bunco and just go out and live it up!! Well let me just say it was a night lived up!! I didn't get to live it up with many cocktails but I shook it like polariod picture all night...or like a salt shaker or what is the other one? Shake your tail feather....I shook my tail feather!?! It was a great time with the ladies and hope to do it again in the near future when everyone is recovered! It was such a great time those of you that couldn't make it missed out!

Oh no he didn't.....Yes, he did!

So it is official, Jake is saying "dada!" I woke up this morning to not mama anymore but "dada dada dada" It was the cutest thing. It was even cuter than mama to be honest. I loved it. Our little man is expanding his vocabulary. It made Mike smile and me for that matter. Daddy's little man. It doesn't get much sweeter than this. Well I am sure it does but as of today it doesn't.

NO...I didn't take these photos.

Note...his hands are like do not touch the grass!
Jake & Chewy
Strike a pose.....there's nothing to it! VOGUE...haha
Cheese!!
This would be a great photo if I had make-up on! My wrinkles are showing.

So I am trying to learn how to use this fancy camera I bought and if you cannot tell I have no idea how to use it from my previous photos. I went to my cousins because she is a photographer and she just snapped some photos real quick to try and show me what the things on my camera are capable of doing. Well check them out! They are so cute. It was the first time I put Jake in the grass and he was not really a fan of it. He didn't like it much but he loved "Chewy" his cousin's dog. Thanks cousin Yvette for showing me how to use this camera and for taking these cute photos of Jake!

I am so embarrassed!

I am so embarrassed that I have neglected Scooter and Lexi this much! Poor babies need a haircut! But any of you who know them know that they HATE car rides. They yap the entire time they are in the car. I am not sure why because aren't dogs suppose to like the car? Well not mine. They even look sad in these photos....I am so going to find me a mobile groomer.

Both of Scooters ears are now floppy! His hair is too heavy.
Poor Lex, she cannot see. Doesn't she look chinese!

Jake's New Truck!

My mom and dad.....Jake's Nana and Papa or Grandma and Grandpa (we are not sure what he will call them yet) anyhow, they bought Jake a new truck! It is a little stuffed tow truck from the Disney movie "Cars" It is so cute. The hanger part is made from a string and felt....well he pulls it around with him when he crawls. Mike laughs because it is as big as him and he chooses to pull it around with him. Boys will be boys, No toy is big enough for them to play with!
