My "other" kids....

So it just wouldn't be right if I didn't put some photos up of Scooter and Lexi a.k.a Scoot doggy-dogg and Lexi-Roo. Scooter and Lexi have adjusted very well with Jake. I wasn't too sure about Scooter because he has territorial issues but he is really good with Jake. They are scared of him at times. Especially when he chases them around in his walker it is pretty funny. They know who's toys are who's and they do not touch Jakes which is good. Lexi has definitely felt a little neglected. I used to have her on my lap pretty much any time I was laying down or sitting and he doesn't like that too much. Anyhow, they are still our babies. I love them to death. Here are some of the latest photos of them!

She is such the princess!
What is that?
It is so hot outside mommy!
Wow! Someone is H-O-T!
Just playin outside!

Ohhh...and some more! (month of Sept.)

Well as you can all see times flies when you are having fun! We have fun everyday in the Hoyt household. Jake plays, naps, poops, eats, and then does it all over again and again! Jake and Mike have a ritual....Mike and Jake's time together is bath time. Thank you honey for helping me out with that. They play and talk and just catch up on how their days went. It is so sweet! Mike is a good daddy to the Jakester! And Jake is a good son. Again, here are some photos of fun.

Say Cheese!!!
Another Rub a dub dub, Jake is in the tub!
What kind of face is this?
Nannie, Nannie you can't get me!!!
Doin' some laundry.....My mom is a slave driver!

Month of August....

Wow...how time flies by and Jake grows so fast! In just a month he grew and I didn't even realize it until I look back at the photos! Crazy how this happens. He went from just crawling at 5 months to pulling himself up at 6 months and crawling super fast! He is a crazy man and I cannot keep him from anything. I love every little bit of him and it!!

Yeah, his neck hurt later!

I am a bad mommy......

I am such a bad mommy! I have these photos on my "new" camera that I just now downloaded and they go as far back to the very beginning of July! I have over 200 on the new camera and still use my old one cause I carry that one with me everywhere. Anyhow, here are some fun photos I failed to post sooner. We will start with the month of July! I ate my first cereal in July!!!

My Aunty likes to make me look like Baby Jesus!

Do you want me to put that in my mouth?

First Football Game....

Was that a touchdown?
I am going to eat the camera!
Cousin Nate
Cousin Joe
Aunty Kim & Aunty Claudine

So of course for those of you that know the Marin Family (my family on my dad's side) all the boys are die hard football players. If you aren't , then you might as well be a cheerleader...haha. I already have issues with the thought of Jake playing football. I think he can just be the kicker....they make good money for just kicking and the do not get tackled!! Anyhow, they all say he will be a football player and I am sure he will want to with as many of them there are in my family.

So this past Saturday we took him to his first game. He has no idea what is going on but we got to see his Aunties, Uncle, and cousins. His cousins Nate and Joe play on a small pop warner team and they are die hards! I do not know how they do it in this heat....although it wasn't even as hot that day. Good Jobs guys.....you look awesome out there. GO Team!

My favorite Aunty...

Check me and my favorite Aunty Christy. I have a new baseball cap and I look really cool, don't I?

Lunch Date with Daddy...

So yesterday (9.17.07) we had a surprise lunch date with Daddy. We went to My Big Fat Greek Rest. That is one of mommy's favorite places to eat! Daddy was very surprised because we do not make it over to that neck of the woods too often. We would like to but it is a long haul. And for the first time Jake sat like a big boy in the high chair at this joint! He didn't cry to get out and he just played with toys the whole time. I am really a big boy now! And mommy is getting over being a germaphobe! I hate the high chairs at these places and I am just starting to become better about letting him sit in it.
And if you have not noticed in his photos he is in need of a haircut. His Faux Hock is getting way too long. We miss Alaina and need to find someone as fun as her to cut his hair. Alaina, come back. For those of you that don't know my favorite Hair Girl (what I like to call her) moved away to Europe to live her dream. We miss her but are still so happy she is doing what she has always wanted to do there. Hopefully some day she will be the runway models "hair girl" and we can say she did ours too!
Oh....and it was a big day for Jake yesterday. He said "mamamamamama" just like that. I have been practicing with him to say dada but what do you know? He said mamama instead. Crazy how that worked out. I really did want him to say dada but I guess he like the way mamama sounded. And now he has been saying it all of the time. Crazy kid! I love it and it makes you just smile when he says it. But I needed a tape recorder because he will not say it for anyone else but me? Go figure. So Mike doesn't believe me that he is saying it. He is in denial. haha.
And I have some additional photos in here of Jake and his new friend Madelyn. She just turned 1 on Friday the 14th.! She had her birthday party on Saturday which was a lot of fun. Jake got to play with new toys and kids.
Miss Madelyn shares a very special birthday with my dear friend Alexandria Meekcoms. Miss Alex, I miss you oh so much and hate that I didn't get to be with you on your special day. But I know in spirit she was around rockin' it out in Heaven. She was so full of life and still is!!! I love her and miss her lots. Happy Birthday Alex.

GO BIG BLUE/ORANGE!! Football, Fantasies & Rituals!

Wow!! It was the First Sunday of all day football!! It was actually not as bad as I thought it would be. I got a lot of stuff done while Mike & Jake watched football. It was the season opener for the Broncos and they won....in the last seconds (15-14) If you didn't see the last 10 seconds it was great. So the football part of the day was a good one.
And for the fantasies.....I am not sure how Mike's teams did! But I do know he has so many players that I am confused. But my fantasies....I was dreaming about getting a new LV because I think I deserve one. Just because. But then again, maybe not. HA! I need to start using my other one before I buy another.
Rituals, well you can see Mike has started Jake on some baby rituals. Mike wears a certain hat every game day for the Broncos. He swears it works....but I have to disagree. Now Jake has jammies he is suppose to wear every Saturday night and then an outfit on Sundays. He is a cute little Donkey....heha heha!

Check out the New Jammies!

Yup...We are proud Bronco fans!
Is that a football on my butt?
Give me that!!!

Check out my daddy's hat and my new outfit!

Chillin' watching the game!

I know I was in awwwe after that win too!!!

Well I hope you all enjoyed your Sunday!!

Who's Counting?

Lilypie Breastfeeding Ticker

Kick off.....Am I complaining? Nahhh....

Yes....we all know tonight was the kick off for football season. And for those of you that do not know....well this is the time of the year that my husband likes to just shut me out on Sundays/Monday nights. Well maybe he does that all the time but just more so when football season is here.

So let me tell you how our season has started. First, he decides that he needs to fly to Denver for a "fantasy football" draft. Who does that? Then he feels like one ff team is just not enough. So he is in another one that he decides to join and has another draft night.....well of course yours truly is home with Jake for the few days he is gone and the night of his other draft. So he comes home with a few complaints of how long guys take to make a pick....blah....blah....blah. In the meantime I am home with Jake who has had a tummy ache. Now that is something to complain about. Needless to say.....we are SOOOOOooooo excited for Football Season! HaHa.

But really, I would rather my husband be addicted to this than anything else. So what the heck am I complaining about? Maybe just the extra little TLC I get when football is not on. I know, I am a big baby. But hey what can I say tonight was great. The entire time the game was on I was sitting here trying to figure out this darn thing....wooohoo....I am getting somewhere.

So I am still trying to figure out if I am going to let Jake be a Bronco fan. I kind of think I might steer him towards KC just to be his daddy's rival. I am working on it!

Who did it?

So...I know you all shop at Costco. Did you do it? LOL.

My little sister works at Costco and she was getting off tonight from work and look at what she walked out to see? Did you do it? Sorry little sister....I have to laugh. Craziness!!! If you know anyone we are offering a free bumper if you can find the person who did this! haha.

LABOR DAY WEEKEND @ GRANDMA AND GRANDPA'S!

Yummy Carrots!!

Jake and His Papa!
Jake and his Nana and Papa
Jessica & Mikey!
Naked Drummer.......

Jake and Mommy!

Well this weekend we hung out at my mom and dads. Jake got to swim in their pool.....it is salt water so I feel better about putting him in theirs instead of ours which is chlorinated! Anyway....I am obssessed with what is good and bad for you. Jake also had his "first carrots" on Labor day as well. He really enjoyed them and made a small mess all over his face as you can see. I also bought him some new shoes! We bought him some Pedipeds because he will be walking soon. I am telling you my little man is on the ball. He is a lot like his mom. When he learns something new he is obssessed with it and continues to do it over and over until he has mastered it. He has mastered crawling, sitting up, screaming at a high pitch, pulling himself up all before 6 months. So I am thinking he will master walking before he is 8 months. He can hold on to his crib and move along the edge and change hands so he is well on his way. And lastly, I put a photo in there that we took of him naked playing his new drum by Leap Frog. It is the best thing ever. It plays in spanish and in english....my child will be bilingual!
